Overview

Pixeltools develops desktop add-ins for Autodesk Revit. This privacy policy explains what data our add-ins collect and how it is used.

Data Collection

Our add-ins do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.

Our add-ins:

• Do not collect usage analytics or telemetry
• Do not access your project data outside the application interface
• Do not share any data with third parties

Paid Add-ins (Print Order Control)

Paid add-ins distributed through the Autodesk App Store use Autodesk's entitlement system to verify your license. This involves:

• A secure HTTPS request to apps.autodesk.com to check your license status
• Your Autodesk User ID is sent to verify entitlement (this is handled entirely by Autodesk)
• Your entitlement status is cached locally for offline use

This is the standard licensing mechanism used by all paid Autodesk App Store add-ins. No personal information beyond your Autodesk account ID is transmitted, and this data is sent only to Autodesk, not to Pixeltools.

Free Add-ins (Plot by Revision)

Free add-ins do not connect to the internet at all. They operate entirely offline.

Local Settings

Our add-ins store settings files locally on your computer to remember your preferences (such as window size, sort settings, and saved configurations). These files are stored in:

• %AppData%\Pixeltools\PlotByRevision\ for Plot by Revision
• %AppData%\Pixeltools\PrintOrderControl\ for Print Order Control

These files are never transmitted anywhere. You can delete them at any time to reset to default settings.

Project Data

Our add-ins read data from your currently open project solely to display options in their interface. This data is:

• Only accessed while the add-in window is open
• Never copied, stored, or transmitted outside of the application
• Never shared with third parties

Website

The Pixeltools website (pixeltools.us) does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. Fonts are self-hosted. Demo videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and are only loaded when you click play.

Third Parties

Pixeltools add-ins do not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking code.
